Friday morning, the FFA chapters of LCHS and LCMS hosted a special breakfast for district and building administrators, staff, faculty, and board members to share their exciting plans for the 2025–2026 school year. FFA students took the spotlight, proudly presenting their goals and vision for the year ahead.
A big thank you to Mr. Peacock, Ms. Garrason, and Ms. Clark for their continued support and guidance. We’re looking forward to a year of growth, excellence, and Blue Tide pride!

Big shoutout to Long County FFA! With 403 students, our chapter is now the 3rd largest in the entire state of Georgia! That’s an incredible achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students — and the leadership of Ms. Garrason and Mr. Peacock.

At the Long County Board of Education, the 24-25 enrollment will close on May 8. The 25-26 enrollment will open on May 9.

Congratulations to our very own Mrs. Sabrina Caines, who was named ESOL District Teacher of the Year for Long County Schools! We appreciate all she does for our students every single day.


Long County High School SkillsUSA was proud to present Mrs. Tammy Goober and the Long County Public Library a check today. This money comes from our Change for Change donation event, where high school classes donated loose change. Students donated $300 with a matching donation from the SkillsUSA chapter for a total of $600.


The regular board meeting that was scheduled for April 15th at 4:30 PM has been rescheduled for April 18th at 9:00 AM.
